I’m happy (ok THRILLED!) to tell you that I’m finally over the nasty virus that’s plagued our home since Thanksgiving week!
After two weeks of that nasty bug and two rounds of antibiotics, I’m back to normal! It feels so good to be able to say that!
i have two kids who are still fighting this crazy bug; one is starting his second round of antibiotics, the other her first. I’m praying that the meds kick this thing to the curb, because we’ve had to cancel two trips to my moms because of this thing!
Recently, a friend introduced me to Plexus products, and last week I started taking their probiotic, called ProBio5. It’s not just any probiotic; it’s primary focus is to heal the gut, and improve your health. Thus the reason I’m taking it.
for quite some time now, I’ve been convinced that I suffer from leaky gut, and I decided it was time to do something about it. I’m only into my second week of taking the ProBio5, so I haven’t seen any big changes as of yet, but I’ll be sure and let you know if I do!
I’m having my teenage son take the ProBio5 as well, because he has chronic eczema which gets way worse this time of year. I read a Plexus testimony the other day where a baby who had severe eczema– as in all over her little body–was completely cured of the eczema after only one week on the probiotic! I’m really praying that this helps cure my son as well; I feel so bad for him because it’s itchy and painful.
for the record, I’m not being a spokesperson for Plexus; it’s something new that I’m excited about and wanted to share with you!
In other news, I’m happy to report that I’m back to exercising and eating right! Basically, I’m walking about two miles each morning on the treadmill, and I’m counting calories. Counting calories has always been the most effective way for me to lose weight, and so far, I’ve dropped two pounds in the past two weeks.
i know it’s going to be a bit trickier to stay on track with Christmas goodies right around the corner, but I’m going to do my best. I really want to go into the new year feeling strong and healthy; I’ve been neglecting myself for far to long!
i read somewhere that some people try to limit their carb intake to 30 carbs per day…holy cow, I tried that and thought I was going to starve to death! Clearly, counting calories works way better for me! I will say that I admire those people who can be that disciplined!
oh, and in case you’re wondering, Christmas is in 18 days! You’re welcome!
have a great day!
