Well, i’m happy to say that I’m on day 6 of my Whole 30, and i’m doing great!!
i haven’t had terrible cravings like I did during my first W30, and thankfully, I haven’t been completely exhausted!!
I’m so excited about how well this is going for me this time around; I was worried that I’d be miserable by now!
By the end of the first week of my first W30, I was CRABBY, tired, and wanted to scream at whoever was close by. not pretty.
I’m also down three pounds, which is a huge bonus!
technically, you’re not supposed to weigh yourself while on the W30, because they want your focus to be more so on eating healthy and feeling good.
however, i’m choosing to bend that rule because to be honest, it motivates me to see the scale going down!
though i’m not doing this primarily to lose weight, I do have weight to lose, so i’m choosing to weigh myself. call me a rebel, but that’s just how it’s going to be.
I’ve had a couple of stressful days this week, and it was surprising to me how many times i thought of food as a way to calm my nerves.
pretty much confirms for me that i’m totally a emotional eater.
i’m hoping that these 30 days will help me break that pattern, because i’m not going to the sugary treats right now like i usually do.
either way, I’m really excited that i’m basically through the first week, and i’m doing great!
